The Emperor of Dolchland is the Head of State of the Empire of Dolchland. The Emperor has power over most foreign policy, military and economic matters. The Emperor is elected by the Diet of Electors, a body made up of powerful nobles in Dolchland, upon the death, abdication or overthrow of the previous Emperor. There have been many Emperors since the Empire's establishment in 1777.
