The Daedalus is a tracked medium range surface-to-air missile launch system first produced by the Republic of Syara in 1968. The Daedalus is designed to counter enemy aircraft at low-to-medium level and range, typically operating with a 20-75 kilometer range. The Daedalus is equipped with supporting radar system, transporter erector launchers, and three surface-to-air missiles. It has gone through continuous upgrades since its inception and remains in use with the Syaran National Army to provide medium range air defense.

The Daedalus first saw action less than a year after it was first introduced into the Army of the Syaran Republic, where it played a major role in the Seven Day War. The successful performance of the Daedalus saw it enter widespread usage across the Granika Border War and the Hayren War, where it was responsible for the most shoot downs of any Syaran air defense system. The Daedalus was employed by both sides during the Refusal War, where it earned the moniker "прекинувач на крилата" (prekinuvač na krilata), or "wing breaker". Following the war it continued service in the Syaran Commonality Armed Forces, during which it saw extensive service during the Zemplen War. Following the war the Daedalus received further updates and modifications and is expected to continue to serve until the 2030s-2040s.

The SNA typically deploys the Daedalus at the division level as the main firepower of the division's air defense battalion, where it is complimented by Pollux SHORAD systems.
