Mags

Mags (Jackson Cecil Harriett; Born 1979) is a student of Vermilion University and one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away. He is the elder son of Jamison and Magdelene Harriett, he is the elder brother of Marley Harriett. As a student of Vermilion University, he is a student member of the Vermilion Theatrics Department and is considered to be one of the Lyonnaise Boys.

Kagsma

Kagsma (Daniel Montgomery; Born 1980) is a student of Vermilion University and one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away. He is the elder son of Andrew and Selma Montgomery, and the is the elder brother of Jacqueline Montgomery. As a student of Vermilion University, he is a student member of the Vermilion Literature Department and is considered to be one of the Lyonnaise Boys.

Havoc

Havoc (Frederick Clarence Dresden; Born 1978) is a student of Vermilion University and one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away. He is the only son of Charles Dresden and Annie Bouvier. As a student of Vermilion University, he is a student member of the Vermilion Athletics Team, the Vermilion Royales. He is considered to be one of the Lyonnaise Boys.

Marley

Marley (Marley Yuma Harriett; Born 1980) is a student of Vermilion University and one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.

Makarios

Makarios (Alexander Nicholas Makarios; Born 1935) is a professor at Vermilion University and one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.

Ingrid (Jacqueline Montgomery; Born 1980) is a student of Vermilion University and one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.

Devereaux (Matthew Eugene Beregovoy; Born 1966) is the head of the Vernates, a band that consists of Devereaux, Yuko, Wisconsin and sometimes Cormack. He is one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.

Yuko

Yuko (Albert Nettison; Born 1953) is the patriarch of the Nettison family and the subsequent head of the Nettison Family Farms, a set of farms located in Avoyelles; and is one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin (Oliver Vanel Madison; Born 1955) is the owner of Madison Family Automobile Repair, the sole car repair enterprise in Vermilion; and is one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.

Cormack

Cormack (Cormac Bodhran Murtagh; Born 1948) is the owner of The Stag and Chubby's Pub, two of the main alcoholic establishments in Vermilion; and is one of the Central Characters of Drifting Away.
