Benjamin Thomas Avery is the 50th President of the Federation of Asteria, serving since January 20th, 2017. A member of the Conservative Party, Avery is the youngest to ever be elected president at just 34 years old-- giving him the name "Child in the State House". Despite facing harsh criticism during the 2016 Election for his youth and overall political inexperience, he managed to secure a close victory against Liberal candidate Ryan Clarence with 55% of the popular vote.
