The BF-07 (Bei Feng-07, "North Wind-07") was the first type of ballistic missile to enter service in Songguo. It was categorized as an SRBM and has been phased out of service, as have all of its variants, but the technical expertise gained in building it allowed Songhua engineers to go on to design the country's later SLBMs, IRBMs, and ICBMs, as well as other SRBMs and tactical ballistic missiles. It was exported widely, even outside the Sermaye Treaty Organisation.
