Background
Following the coup by Hereward the Woke in Greater Thamesholm and the acceptance of neighbouring Westmonkwick into the Order of Traditionalist Realms, the leader of the Han Caliphate, Suleiman III announced that Hereward was planning to attack the Order.
Overview The conflict lead to Westmonkwick’ air strike of Greater Wallborough and internment of left-won’t people as well as the prohibition on LGBTQIA+ people joining the Westmonkwick military.
It also lead to national service programmes in the Turkmen Emirate, Denmark and Westmonkwick.
Political positions
Both political parties in the Turkmen Emirate support the war as do both major political parties in Westmonkwick. In the Beylik of Scandinavia, right-wing parties support the war but left-wing parties oppose it. Conscription is opposed apart from by one centrist party.
