The Octagon is an Ibravian military installation that serves as the headquarters of the Department of Defense. As a symbol of the Ibravian Armed Forces, the phrase The Octagon is often used as a metonym for the Department of Defense and its leadership.

Located in northwest Hamilton, D.C, the building was designed by Ibravian architect Magnus Bergqvist and built by contractor James McKean. The construction of the building began on June 15, 1961, which was inaugurated on September 23, 1963.
