The Kaoro Provisional Government, officially the Republic of Kaoro, was a revolutionary state during the Kaoroan Civil War. It was declared on June 14, 1996, defended by thousands of Kaoroan rebels who fought to overthrow the People's Federal Socialist States of Kaoro. With the fall of Kaoro City to the rebels, the government moved towards building the framework towards a new Kaoroan state. The government ended with the Restoration Declaration and declaration of the Federal States of Kaoro.
