Þorleif II (b. 17 July 1991) is the current High Jarl of the Borealians, serving alongside the Presidium of Jarls. The eldest child of Ragnarr and Fríð, he was elected Jarl of the Peoples of Stórkostlegborg by the Patricians of Stórkostlegborg on 6 August 2013 via instant-runoff voting following the abdication of his father Ragnarr the same day. Coronated on the 21st of December, 2014, in accordance with Borealian traditions, he was elected High Jarl of the Borealians by the other Borealian members of the Presidium of Jarls on 17 March 2014 following the abdication of Lýtingur that same day. His Coronation as High Jarl occurred on 22nd of December, 2015, in accordance with the Borealian tradition of having the Borealian High Jarl be coronated on the Winter Solstice (an important Borealian holiday as the beginning of Yule) of the year after the High Jarl/Jarl was elected.
