The AG1 (Radictistani: Avtomatische Gewehr 1) is a Radictistani assault rifle derived from the Russian AK-107 rifle. It is chambered for a 7.62x45mm cartridge and is otherwise almost identical to the original weapon. Selective fire capability exists in the form of a three-round burst mode in addition to semi and full-automatic fire. The AG1 is the standard service rifle for the Royal Radictistan Army, having replaced the AK-103. The main variant is the AG1L full-length rifle. There is also a carbine variant designated AG1K and a light machine gun variant designated AG1SL. All members of the AG1 family are capable of accepting both Eastern and Western optics and accessories. The type has seen no combat service except for use by Radictistani mountain troops against Communist urban insurgents in the northern County of Norcustsur and by the Radictistani peacekeeping force on the island of Indras. The AG1 is also sold on the civilian market in an essentially unmodified configuration.
