Munde, officially the Republic of Munde (Respubliko Munde in Kaoroan), is one of the 14 states of Kaoro. With a population of 2 million, it is the 4th most populated state of Kaoro. The state borders Duvivo & Murzi. Kaoroan is the sole official language. The state's questionable government has led people to say that Munde is the most dictorial government in Kaoro. Due to the government situation in the state, the Green Star Union has refused to let Munde into the regional union.

On February 14th, 2022, a document was published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs that accused Munde of corruption & sabotage against the federal government. This included artificially inflating turnout & changing votes in Federal elections. The Green Star Party of Kaoro recieved most of the illegitimate votes.

Large-scale protests broke out in the state capital of Dakota on April 1, 2022, against the rule of Niĉjo Pagalo.

Etymology

Munde comes from the Kaoroan word "Mondo", meaning world.

Geography

Munde is on the eastern side of Kaoro. The population is mostly by the coast, with the capital and most populated city of Dakota being near the coast.

History

Socialist Regime

With the start of the People's Federal Socialist States of Kaoro, Munde was renamed the Mundean People's Republic and was heavily pro-government. During the civil war that ended the regime, Munde infamously supported and sent troops to the government.
