Federal Public Holidays

New Year´s Day 1st January Celebrated annually with fireworks in Praga and other major cities, military parade, food markets and New Year's Speech by the Monarch. It is part of the Christmas Holidays.
Przemysell Day 9th February Remembering the birth of Przemysell I., founder and the first king of Morrawia on 9th February 842. People don't go to work or school.
Valentine's Day 14th February This day celebrates love and many establisments are adapted accordingly. It is one of the smallest holidays in Morrawia and was declared national holiday in 2003, after the murder of couple by a mob.
Wollodimír Day 19th February Remembering the birth of Wollodimír The Warrior of Thrismari who fought against The Empire and reestablished constitutional monarchy.
Memorial Day 7th March On this day, people commemorate the end of the Morrawian Civil War of the year 1000-1007. Politicians usually give speeches and a yellow tulip is worn as a symbol on the clothing.
1st Election Day (Senate) 12th April This federal holiday simply ensures, that everyone can get to vote by not going to work. People have all day to cast a ballot for this Congressional Election on the federal level.
2nd Election Day (Senate) 13th April Second day of the election, where people still don't go to work, but the polls close at 15:00 in all regions.
Easter Day 17th April Very popular holiday with Bunny Hunts, candy, whips made out of branches and all in all good atmosphere. People don't go to work or school.
Establishment Day 25th April By this day, people commemorate reestablishment of Morrawia after the Age of Chaos and reuniting during the reign of Wenceslaus I.
Labour Day 1st May Holiday in support of all workers all over Morrawia. People don't go to work or school and the shops are closed.
Kingdom Day 15th June On this day, in the year 907, Morrawia was founded by Przemysell I. This is a huge holiday in Morrawia with politicial speeches, markets and much more. People also don't have to go to work and the school ends earlier.
Flag Day 26th June Holiday honouring not only Morrawian (national), but also regional flags in Morrawia. Flags are waving everywhere on the streets and it´s a special day for every Morrawian.
1st Election Day (House) 2nd July This federal holiday simply ensures, that everyone can get to vote by not going to work. People have all day to cast a ballot for this Congressional Election on the federal level.
2nd Election Day (House) 3rd July Second day of the election, where people still don't go to work, but the polls close at 15:00 in all regions.
Freedom Day 28th October Extremely popular in Morrawia, Freedom Day is full of patriotism, parades, fireworks, merch, Monarch and other politicians giving speeches, BBQ, mainly fun time spent with the family, because noone goes to work or school.
Halloween Day 31st October School ends earlier, kids and adults dresy up in costumes and go from house to house to ask for candy. With pumpkin carving and amazing atmosphere, this is one of the most popular holidays in Morrawia.
Remembrance Day 7th November Many atrocities were commited by Military Junta during its cruel rule over Morrawia, which this day tries to commemorate. Red poppies are worn on the clothing as a symbol of this.
Victory Day 11th November This day celebrates the end of Great War, in which Morrawia was a supporting ally of The Alliance and was on the winning side.
Carithian Day 22nd November Remembering the rule of Carithian Dynasty, a shortlived family, which put Morrawia back on track after Civil War, Age of Chaos and subsequent colapse into smaller states.
Christmas Day 24th December A day full of presents by Baby Jesus, carp as a traditional food christmas tree, christmas markets, Royal Christmas Speech, cozy atmosphere and many traditions in adition of no need of going to work or school since the day before as a part of the Christmas Holidays.
First Christmas Feast 25th December Second day of Christmas.
Second Christmas Feast 26th December Third day of Christmas.
