The Concilio Populi (Anglish: The Council of the People) is the higher chamber of the federal legislative branch of the Sanctum Imperium Catholicum. Ancient records from the First Salvian Imperium date its first establishment in the late 5th century BC, however it did not exist in its modern form until the end of the Peoples’ War in 1709.
History
The Concilio Populi was originally created in 470s BC, where records of it begin. It had the job of creating and passing new laws and signing treaties with foreign powers, however was subject to the monarch, who, at any time he pleased, could overrule the laws or any other action by them without council.
