Orders, decorations, and medals of Belfras

In the Belfrasian Federation, personal bravery, achievement, or service are rewarded with honours. The honours system consists of three main types of award:

  • Honours are used to recognise merit in terms of achievement and service;
  • Decorations tend to be used to recognise specific deeds;
  • Medals are used to recognise service on a particular operation or in a specific theatre, long or valuable service, and good conduct.

Exceptional Honours

At the outbreak of the Social War, the Belfrasian Expeditionary Force in Latium (Bel-EF) went to the aid of Diana I Anicia, who had been announced as surviving the attempt on the lives of her family and proclaimed herself Empress. On the arrival of Field Marshal Michael, he presented her with Sovereign Prince Georgios Sovereign Sash
