Gothica, both commonly and officially known as the Greater Gothic Empire and formally referred to as the Greater Gothic Empire of the Goth Realm, is a planet-wide sovereign state. With 205,105,373 square miles (or 531,220,478 square kilometres) of Earth's inhabitable land mass that spans across a total of five continents and about 18,666,000,000 people that belong to the music-based Goth subculture, Gothica is the largest country in the world throughout history in terms of area and of population. The country is organised into sixty-nine regions, which are then divided into provinces and sub-divided into districts; 33 cities that function as separate regions, and the eponymous imperial capital, World Capital Gothica, the largest city in the world with a population of around 1,330,000,000; other significant cities include Vespertinople and Necropolis, both religious and cultural centres, Valborg, a major commercial centre; Nachthafen and Akashabad, two chief ports and industrial centres; and others, such as Neu-Kronstadt, Draculburg, Lestatbourg and Hexentreffen.
