The Battle of Kavarres (or First Battle of Kavarres) was an engagement of the Prodavan War which took place on 1st April 1991 during the Prodavan Oliv Offensive. General Rasseed Salahe's Operation Group Oliv (made up of forces from Prodavan 2 Corps) attacked the Imperial airbase and fortified village at Kavarres in the Earldom of Agrea. The Imperial defenders, commanded by Colonel John Chalois of the Agrea Yeomanry, held their positions around Kavarres for a day before evacuating under cover of night to Oliv. Following the fall of Kavarres, Salahe marched on the city of Oliv where a decisive battle was fought.
