The Nainan People's Republic (Nainese: 共和人民奈人; Cộng hòa nhân dân Nài Nhân) was a socialist council republic in Southeast Coius, making up most of southern and western Nainan, that existed from 1956 to 1964. It was a single party state ruled by the Nainese Section of the Worker's International and it's existence took place during the Nainese Civil War, of which it was a faction of.

It was founded by the Nainese Section of the Worker's International on the 10th of February 1956 after capturing Setrong from the monarchy, coming shortly after the declaration of independence by the Harmonious Republic in the north. The Nainese People's Army was formed and many local military and ethnic militia joined with promises of better conditions and autonomy respectfully. Kiều Mạnh Kiến, chairman of the NSWI, became the leader of the People's Republic.

It would take over much of the south and western parts of Nainan, it would eventually begin fighting with the nationalist Harmonious Republic for the city of Tài Lẽ, where the war became largely a stalemate. During this time the government of the People's Republic began building projects in it's cities for housing and infrastructure, namely around Setrong. The military forces were able to fight the more militarily advanced nationalists quite effectively for the time being, mostly due to supply chains from socialist neighbors such as Dezevau and Lavana, running through Socialist-controlled Zomia.

The war continued for five more years and in 1961 the Battle of Rêu Sơn saw a major nationalist victory and the cutting off of much of the supply lines for the socialists. Their forces became routed across the western half of the country and the nationalist began to capitalize on the momentum around Setrong and by 1963 would begin to besiege the city. A few months later the city fell and the socialist government retreated to Quan Kim until it's eventual fall to the nationalists in September 1964, the government surrendered in October.
