Socius Investment and Personal Banking Services Corporation is a Malgravean-Dornalian international banking group, established in 2006 following an agreement between Spoor-Mitsui Financial and MalInv. It was originally formed to take advantage of opportunities in the Malgravean Research Colony but has since expanded into other areas of Mystria, although, it tends to still be associated with migrant communities.
History
With the unexpected arrival of a higher number of Dornalians and other migrants in the Research Colony in 2005, an unprecedented strain was put on the financial system of the region which resulted in numerous embarrassing delays and system crashes. In response to this situation, MalInv and MalBank were tasked with finding solutions to the crisis and started formulating ideas, with the winning proposal being the establishment of a new independent bank with a focus on delivering services to migrants and citizens living in overseas locations such as the Research Colony.
As this process was ongoing Spoor-Mitsui Financial was contemplating ways of entering into the Malgravean market, a sector of the economy which was uniquely fiercely competitive due to the number of competing private companies and through communications with the Dornalian Embassy in Malgrave ended up speaking with representatives of the Malgravean government who quickly brought them on board with the ongoing project started by MalInv and MalBank
Socius Investment and Personal Banking Services Corporation was born in 2006 with equal investment from Spoor-Mitsui Financial and MalInv/MalBank, it quickly expanded in the Research Colony and soon gained a reputation for dealing with migrants from not only the Dornalian Republic but also Breheim and Silverdale.
Since it's foundation Socius Investment and Personal Banking Services Corporation has expanded operations outside the Research Colony and it now has operations across Mystria, with these operations once again providing for wide number of Dornalian, Malgravean and other migrant communities abroad.
