The Massacre of Nickevale was the mass-killing of the inhabitants of the village of Nickevale in the region of Grythshead by soldiers under the command of Sultan Mehmet III of Ramubad. 110 Vionnans were killed by a detachment of Ramubadic soldiers including the village's lord. Banditry in the area had been allegedly supported by the people of Nickevale and the massacre was a retaliation attack made on the Sultan's order. The massacre, and other acts of cruelty, were factors which led the Vionnan lords of Grythshead to rebel in the War of Grythshead Independence.
