Since 1921, Mádoba and Costa Madora have been close political and military allies, sharing cultural similarities. Today, Mádoba identifies its relations with Costa Madora as its "most important bilateral relationship".

• Costa Madora has an embassy in Maradiaga, and a honorary consulate in Ahuacruz.
• Mádoba has an embassy in Vitorife, and two honorary consulates in San Luis and Mariastadt.
• Both countries maintain amicable relations.
