Saint-John's Skirmish was an engagement fought between colonists of Mount Zeon Colony and soldiers of the Empire of Cassadia in 1737 during the lead-up to the Frankenlisch-Cassadia War. An explorative party led by William St-John, an experienced colonist, came under attack from Cassadian troops at the base of the Whitetail Mountains. Details of the skirmish are scarce and very few Cassadian records of the incident exist. St-John's party held off the attack at the loss of 5 men and returned to colonial territory. Admiral Richard de Troumaine was despatched to New Penchester with a squadron of frigates as a result of the skirmish and others like it. Saint-John's Skirmish was the last engagement of its kind as Franko-Cassadian relations improved up until the Frankenlisch-Cassadia War in 1744.
