Reuben Benjamin Schaffer (born 4 November 1972) is an Arboladan politician and attorney who has served as the President of Arbolada since January 20th, 2020, in addition to being the leader of the Democratic Party of Arbolada since November 3rd, 2019, during the close of Patrizio Gigante's presidency. He has also served as the prefect for the Sunpoint Capital District from 2016 to 2020.

After graduating from Sunpoint University with a specialization in law, Schaffer sought a career in politics within the capital city of Sunpoint. He worked as a member of advisory staff in the Deven Slaughter administration from 1997 until 2000, where he returned to work in his law office. He returned to politics officially in 2016 after being elected the prefect of the Sunpoint Capital District, and closely cooperated with president Patrizio Gigante in matters of municipal issues and law. With Gigante's second term ending, Schaffer was announced as the Democratic candidate in the then-upcoming 2020 presidential election and won with a significant voter turnout as a result of undertaken political campaigns.

As prefect and now as president, Schaffer has insisted on implementing the conservative platform of the Democratic Party in regards to economic and social matters throughout his offices, including vetoing a bill proposed by left wing portions of the Congress intended to legalize gay marriage in 2020 and turning down efforts to expand the public healthcare system of Arbolada in 2021. Schaffer has faced a major smear campaign from the left in regards to his reportedly bigoted views; conversely, he has been praised by the right wing for defending Arboladan tradition and maintaining the economic status quo of continual growth in the gross domestic product and per-capita standards of living.
