Battlegroup	100 - 1000 warships	Cities or phonetic alphabet	5 - 15 capital ships At least 20 cruisers Numerous frigates and corvettes	Commanders, captains or commodores	Battlegroups are the largest sub-ordinate unit, where several battlegroups make up a flotilla or fleet. Battlegroups are comprised of several squadrons and are some of the most common naval units deployed to respond to a variety of threats that do not require the enormous amounts of firepower from fleets or flotillas.

War Fleets are only deployed in the most dire of situations such as during galactic conflict.
