Mórahalom

Mórahalom is a Imperial Megyék in the Imperial North of the Empire. It is bordered by Csongrád to the west, The Felföld and Jászapáti to the east. Mórahalom is geographically homogenous to the Imperial North as apart of the Tolna Mountain Range, and is the home of the Mórahalom people. Mórahalom is considered to be the home of the Hajdúk, a form of light horsemen that gained cultural significance in the Northern Coalition War.

Mórahalom, specifically southern Mórahalom where a majority of the lowlands exist were inhabited sparsely during the First and Second Wolf Palatinate. Very little writing few settlements exist about the lives of those who lived in these areas during the Palatinate. During the reigns of the Palatinate, the region was noted for its mining potential, though records recovered during the Palatinate did not name the region. Alongside this, neither the First nor Second Wolf Palatinate paved highways or established named trade-routes. Mórahalom is one of the few areas not documented from the Palatinate that were later inhabited during the Proto-Imperial Era.

Mórahalom is considered to be the harshest region of the Tolna Mountain Range compared to Csongrád, Ároktő, or East Tolna. Mórahalom is considered to be the homeland of the Disciple of Perseverance, a disciple of the Apostle of Religion. During the Northern Coalition War, the Mórahalom people joined with the Tolna, Csongrád and Ároktő against the Balaton Kingdom. The use of Hajdúk, special light horsemen and infantrymen that specialized in mountainous and snowy terrains were pivotal at stopping the Balaton Kingdom. This alliance would be solidified as a country known as the Northern Coalition. Mórahalom would later participate under the banner of the Northern Coalition in the Second Hegyhát War, the Lórévi War, and the Unification War.

It is bordered by South Dakota to the north; Iowa to the east and Missouri to the southeast, both across the Missouri River; Kansas to the south; Colorado to the southwest; and Wyoming to the west. Indigenous peoples, including Omaha, Missouria, Ponca, Pawnee, Otoe, and various branches of the Lakota (Sioux) tribes, lived in the region for thousands of years before European exploration. The state is crossed by many historic trails, including that of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
