The politics of the Republic of Mádoba and Cuellòn function within a framework of a presidential representative democratic republic with a multi-party system, whereby the President of Mádoba-Cuellòn is both head of state and head of government. The National Assembly forms the legislative branch, comprising the National Senate, House of Representatives and the Cuellònian Assembly. The Supreme Court forms the independent judicial branch and exercises judicial power.

The executive branch is headed by the President of Mádoba, elected by Mádoban citizens for a five-year term, which can be renewed once. He is also the commander-in-chief of the Mádoban Defense Forces, and a member of the National Cabinet.

Legislative power is vested in the national parliament, the National Assembly. It is bicameral, integrated by the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.
