The Skavian Armed Forces (Skavian: Försvarsmakten, "the Defense Force") are the military force of Skaven, tasked with the defense of the country as well as with promoting Skaven's wider interests, supporting international peacekeeping operations and providing humanitarian aid. It consists of the Skavian Army, the Skavian Air Force and the Skavian Navy, as well as a military reserve force, the Home Guard.
The Försvarsmakten is organized as a joint organization with distinct identities, and is headed by the Supreme Commander. It consists of 23,600 active personnel, 11,200 military reserves and 21,000 Home Guards. However, Skaven has sought to maintain a policy of neutrality, and has not been involved in an officially declared war since the ??? War, in spite that its forces have participated in a number of international operations.
