The Department of Labour is a federal government department in the Caldan Union. The department is responsible for industrial relations, including arbitration and enforcing and protecting the collective bargaining rights of Caldan workers. The department also regulates occupational safety and health, antidiscrimination laws, minimum wage laws, and other workplace protections. It is distinct from the Department of Employment and Social Development as the latter provides direct benefits while the Department of Labour regulates the workplace. The current minister is Yehiel Piron and the current deputy minister is Christopher Burton.
