The Imperial President has the power sign or veto bills passed by the Senate and Cabinet. This however can be overturned by the Senate with a Supermajority (60% or 2400 ayes). The Consuls by a joint vote can also decide to overturn a veto or a senatorial counterveto.

The Executive Office of the Imperial President or Exsecutiva Praesidis Officium Imperatoria Presidentia comprises of the offices, agencies, and institutions that assist and support the work of the Imperial President, at the center of the Executive and Magistratoria of the Imperial Government of the Imperial Principate of Imperia. The EPOIA consists of several offices and agencies such as the the ResidentiaPraesidentialis Office, Imperial Security Council, Imperial Presidential Commission, Imperial Office of Budget Managment, Office of the Imperial President, and the Imperial Presidential Office of Information & Engagement.

Qualifications for Imperial President
The Candidates for Imperial President must pertaint to certain qualifications to be able to run for the Imperial Presidency.
- Must be a natural born citizen of Imperia
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must have been a resident of Imperia for 14 years
- Must not have been jailed for a time exeeding 2 decades
- Must not have been impeached on charges of corruption, treason, or violating the Imperial Constitution
If elected the Imperial President must also resign from any other office (offices, not royal or noble/inherited titles and the offices granted by said titles and also the Monarchy) excluding Consul. The Imperial President may run for Consul while in office (and vice versa).
Campaign and Nominations
During Election Season, any person meeting the Qualifications for Imperial President may run for President. As such, many major Political Parties hold Conferences, with said conferences happening on multiple levels of the Party with the lower levels influencing the Conference at the highest level of their Parties. After this one Candidate who won favor of the party and the runner up (or a person of the Candidate's choice) are nominated by the Party to run for Presient with the runner up becoming their running mate for the election being appointed Vice President if the Candidate wins the election. The other party members running for nomination, formally endorse the nominated Candidates as well as other Party officials, with most party officials endorsing the Candidates. After this, Election Season begains. A month of campaigning and also a month of large political acitivity with endorsements, negotiations, and debates taking place for the Imperial Presidency. The Imperial Department of Engagement oversees most of the election activities along with the Imperial Election Commision of Imperia which plays a part in non-partisanism and partiallity. Debates are also held by the IDoEn and IECOI, pitting candiates against each other in politcal matters, especially thoes controversial. Senatorial Question Time and Debates also tend to get more heated up with Party members trying to push their candidate and party's agenda in the Imperial Senate as Imperial Senate sittings are telivised and transcripted to be published by the Imperial Department of Information and Imperial Office of the Clerk of the Imperial Senate.

Like Consuls and most other Magistrates and Executive Officials, the Imperial President has a term limit of 1 Year. The Imperial President can be relected without limit to the number of times they can be reelected for.
