Guadajara City (Spanish: Ciudad de Guadajara, locally [sjuˈða(ð) ðe ˈɡwaðaˈʝaɾa]; abbr.: CDGJ) is the capital city of Guadajara, and its second-most populous city. One of the world's alpha cities, it is located in the Valley of Guadajara. The city has 16 boroughs, which are in turn divided into neighborhoods or colonias.
