MedLife Health Systems is the holding company that owns and operates the largest network of private hospitals in Ibica. Originally just Albion's Northwest Health Systems, MedLife was formed out of Northwest's aquision of Romane's Patrons' Heart Health System in 1964. Each health network is kept as a seperate company in order to make it easier to comply with state laws.
Health Networks
Cuyoga Valley Health Network
The third largest of the MedLife Systems, CVH serves the Cuyoga Valley region of Calahan. Focused on the Cuyoga area, the system also operates hospitals, clinics, and urgent cares in all of the other cities along the Cuyoga River. CVH is one of the three networks that are authorized by their state governments to operate their own police force. Recently, the CVH Police have come under fire for their percieved lack transparency, compared to government run departments.
Island Healthcare Network
IHN is the main private healthcare network serving Edward Island. INH Columbia Medical Center is the territories largest hospital, public or private, and the INH South Columbia Hospital is the host of the medical school of the University of Edward Island.
Northwest Health System
Northwest Health System is the original network of MedLife, focused on the St. Clarke region, and the rest of northwest Albion, largely focused on the northern portion of the Albion State Route 1 corridor, with the southernmost medical facilities in San Marcos, Albion. NHS is the second largest network in the system.
Patrons' Heart Health System
Patrons' Heart is the main healthcare provider in Romane, operating a larger network than the state's public network. It is also however the smallest network owned by MedLife, with only around 1000 beds across the system.
Southwest Health Network
Southwest Health is the largest portion of the MedLife system, operating facilities throughout West Monroe. Southwest also operates a member hospital of the Rhone Medical Center.
Underwood Physicians Network
The newest, smallest by employee count and service area, part of the MedLife system, purchased in 2015. UPN is focused on Underwood, Hamilton, and serves the north half of Hamilton
