The Imperial Parliament of Longinor (Portuguese, Spanish: Parlamento Imperial, Italian: Parlamento Imperiale, Alemanisk: Rikenstag, Kanzakihito: Teikoku Gikai) is the legislative body of the Imperial Republic of Longinor. Initially the Imperial Parliament was founded in 1812 under the name of General Assembly (Portuguese: Assembléia Geral, Spanish: Asamblea General). In the original form, it was unicameral and only Catholic landowners could take part in the voting sessions. However, following the incorporation of the former English colony of Elizabethland, such a position became unsustainable, and reforms promoted by liberal caudillo Romero Barboza de León in the 1830s ended up with the abolishment of unicameralism and the adoption of bicameralism. The current form of the Imperial Parliament was adopted in 2002, with the end of the Military Dictatorship and the promulgation of the 2002 December Constitution.

The Forum (the lower house) represents the 32 States plus the Free Imperial City of Amarantina. Representation in The Forum is proportional to the population of the federal unit, with a minimum of 6 deputies for the least populated federal units; there is no limit for the most populous states. The Imperial Parliament lacks a term limit for both The Senate and The Forum. Members of the lower house are elected through first-past-the-post in single-member constituencies.

The Senate (the upper house) represents the 33 federal units, the Grand-Matriarch (the head of state), and the Federal Councils (groups that represent the different classes that make up Longinor). The state parliament of each state gets to elect three senators, while the Grand-Matriarch must appoint 25 senators. The number of Senators elected by the Federal Councils vary each election, and it usually grows (or decreases) according to population growth. There are 255 Federal Councilors in the current composition of the Senate. Examples of groups that get to choose senators are labor unions (such as the Physicians National Association or the Longinorese Union of Schoolteachers), ethnic-religious groups (such as native ethnicities), and interest groups (such as the United Front for Children Welfare).
