Brasilistan, officially The Free Republic of Brasilistan is an island nation located in the Pacific Ocean north of Boldonia. It is currently under the rule of a military dictatorship after the Boldonian invasion, which was put in place by the Boldonian occupation. The capital is in New Volgagrad which was made the capital during the occupation due to damage to Brasilis, the largest city and former capital.
Before the invasion Brasilistan was ruled by a one party communist dictatorship set up by the Soviet Union as a puppet nation. After the collapse of the Soviet Union the nation quickly fell into chaos during which a communist military junta took control during the chaos and instituted policies to maintain order and heavily militarize the country.
