National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus), also commonly called Nazism, is a far-right, totalitarian ideology synthesized by Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP. As a branch of fascism, National Socialism incorporates dictatorship and ultranationalism into its ideology whilst also including anti-semitism, anti-communism, scientific racism and eugenics, with the Volksgemeinschaft, the People's Community, being upheld as the primary organization of society. Its ideology takes significant influence from the Völkisch movement and Pan-Germanism.
