The Sainte-Chloé Football Union (Gaullican: Union de Football de Sainte-Chloé), also known as the UFSC, is the foremost professional Arucian football League in the country of Sainte-Chloé. It was formed in 1946, as a merger of 3 older leagues: the Ligue Impériale de Football (LIF), founded in 1882; the Ligue de Football de Sainte-Geneviève (LFSG), founded in 1924; and the Association de Football de la Trinité (AFT), founded in 1937; all of whom had been founding members of the Arucian Football Association. Currently, the League has 32 teams, with sixteen teams belonging to the Ligue Impériale division (the successor of the historic LIF), and sixteen to the Ligue Grande division (the successor to the LFSG and AFT). As a member league of the AAF, it sends one team on to participate in the AAF's Arucian Cup following every season.
Functioning in the off-season of the Arucian Baseball League, it is the second most popular sport in Sainte-Chloé following the ABL. The Union is by far the largest of the member leagues of the AAF, and also some with the fiercest competition and highest viewership. Its cup, the Coupe d'Or, is one of the most prestigious national cups, and is usually held second only to the prized international Arucian Cup. The fact that it is so large in comparison to the other leagues have led some to protest the Sainte-Chloé is underrepresented at the Arucian Cup.
