Syalat, officially the Kingdom of the Gods, is a landlocked country in central Ochran. It is bordered to the north by the Chulha sea, to the east by Shimlar-Pashmir and to the south by Ankat. Syalat also shares a short but contentious border with a [Tibetan] exclave on its Chulha coastline, a remnant of the former Rinpa occupation of Syalat in pre-modern times. Since its independence, Syalat has been under a sacerdotal government administered by the monks of the Agamana school which exercises both religious and temporal authority over the country.
