The second season of Operation : WorldVision would commence after the 105th edition of the Worldvision Song Contest was held. The competition will decide the next five Alezian entries in the Worldvision Song Contest from the 106st edition to the 110th edition until a new contract was decided whether to keep the competition or to change into another format decided by observing the five Alezian entries' performance in the Worldvision Song Contest.

Background

The first season of Operation : WorldVision was held as a response to the failed "cycle rule" which allows all region to represent the union atleast once. It was planned that the competition would face a study regarding its' effectiveness every end of the season, forcing ABA to change selection methods should an average placement of 17th place towards the last five selected entries was not met.

However, the first season was an immediate victory considering that two of the winning entries of the Operation ends up placing in top three (one victory, one runner-up). And as such, even before the study, ABA announced that Operation : WorldVision has renewed its' contract for another five editions.

Each region are to hold a separate preselection for their own region and select their five best songs and performers to represent their region in the national preselection. Voting methods in these regional preselections varies per region depending on the regional broadcaster's choices, where ABA gave the broadcasters freedom to select their own methods as long as the voting remained public and was seen by the audience.

After the five representatives were chosen, ABA will put their names on a random draw to decide each of the representative's slot to compete. In this draw, each regions may only be represented twice. In a situation where a name must be disqualified, the regional broadcaster must immediately bring the sixth-placed (or below if refused) performer to take the spot.

After the draw was made, each performer performs in that episode. And after a voting procedure using the normal WorldVision style a.k.a using 5,6,7,8,10, and 12 points. After calling all regions and invitee nations, the winner of that episode which is decided by whoever earned the most points would represent the Alezian Union in the next WorldVision Song Contest.

All regions except for Mosin-Nagan announced on the same day on 15th of December 2022 at that day's NewsReel/12 broadcast on ABA Channel One that they would be using the same regional finals as the previous season to select their entries. Mosin-Nagan announced the next day on 16th of December 2022 due to unsatisfactory results that it would change selection methods by introducing სიმღერა ალეზიასთვის (A song for Alezia).

In addition to the selected entries through preselections, ABA will open an Arico.Net poll for internet users to pick their favourite artist from all four regions plus nationally. Plus, Music professionals will recommend ABA with artists from all four regions plus nationally.
