The Government Office of the Republic of Baltania (Lithuanian: Baltanijos Respublikos vyriausybės kanceliarija; Latvian: Baltānijas Republikas valdības kanceleja) is a department of the Government of Baltania, responsible for supporting the Prime Minister and Cabinet of Baltania.

Responsibilities

The Cabinet Office's core functions are:

  • Advising and assisting the Prime Minister in his exercise of powers;
  • Administrating the programs, plans and activities of the different ministries, with the purpose of facilitating the Prime Minister its duties as coordinator of the Government's action;
  • Assisting the Prime Minister in matters related to the national economy and other policies;
  • Advising the Prime Minister on national security matters;
  • Carrying out those other activities or functions entrusted to it by the Prime Minister.

It is also responsible for the security of the Government members and their families, protocol, human resources and Government healthcare.
