Portogala, officially The Republic of Portogala, is a country located on the northwestern part of the continent of Gondwana. It is bordered by North India to the north, Ecclesia to the west and Magdala Sirius to the south.
Portogala is geographically divided into three distincts parts: the Folona Plains, The Coicojote Hills and the Astuviras Mountain. The Folona Plains is the most populated with 3,95 million Portogalans living in the area. The nation has its coast on the Gondwana Ocean.
Portogala is a semi-presidential republic and a parliamentary liberal democracy. IT is part of the Olive Branch Coalition, the CSTO and the Portuguese Commonwealth and it has close ties with the other Portuguese countries of Czeily and Logar. Historically, it has pursued a neutral and pacifist foreign policy. It stayed out of the first two Great Wars, only joining the Third Great War in 2023.

President
The President's role in the government is largely ceremonial, but the President can perform various executive actions and is Chief of the Portogalan Army. Historically, the President's role was much more important, as the President was the sole person running the government. That was true until 2022, when Congress was formed. There has been only one person serving as President so far, and that is Antonio de Oliveira Salazar.
