The Romaian Air Force (RAF; Πολεμική Αεροπορία, sometimes abbreviated as ΠΑ) is the air force of Romaia. Formed in 1909 as a service arm of the Romaian Army, it became an independent military branch in 1932 as the Romaian Air Force.
The number of aircraft in service with the Romaian Air Force varies depending on the source; the Ministry of Armed Forces gives a figure of 680 aircraft in 2014. According to 2019 data, this figure includes 350 combat aircraft, the most famous of which is TBD. As of 2019, the Romaian Air Force employs a total of 62,000 regular personnel.
