The 12.5cm G0 Series is a series of main battle tank guns designed and developed by Vushok heavy Industries in the late 1960s for use with the T70125 and other Veliko tanks. It has subsequently been deployed on various Veliko tanks since its inception in several forms.

Variants

  • G01T - Initial variant developed for utilized on the T70125 main battle tank. Produced as an L/48 gun, it featured a wide variety of ammunition available. Based on several design elements from the earlier 120mm weapon it replaced.
  • G01TB - Upgraded G01T featuring additional penetrating power and upgraded armor piercing fin stabilized discarding sabot rounds. Lengthened to L/50.
  • G02T - Designed specifically for the T80125, it was a significant departure from earlier designs. The barrel was lengthened to L/52 and included upgraded ammunition types with additional penetrating power.
  • G03T - Upgraded gun with increased chamber pressure and stronger steel for construction. Barrel lengthened to L/54
