The Republic of North Macaronesia, commonly called North Macaronesia, or Macaronesia, is a parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy in the European Union. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. North Macaronesia covers 10,643 square kilometers and has an estimated population of 3.15 million people. North Macaronesia is compromised of six provinces. North Macaronesia is also a member of the United Nations and the European Union.
Since 2018, North Macaronesia has set the goal to become the first EU nation to be 100% powered by renewable energy by 2025, although some have debated the ethics of PM Toledano's plan after she was involved in a scandal when she attempted to build a dam in the Fuerteventura desert, which according to scientists from the University of Fuerteventura, Costa Calma, would've harmed native species.
