The North Timerian Space Fleet or North Timerian Interstellar Administration (NORIA)

Formation

NORIA descended from the North Timeria Space Agency which fell under the administration of the Air Force. NORIA is a military force primarily composed of Naval and Marine forces.

Armaments

NORIA uses a wide variety of weapon systems to maximize versatility and lethality. Most NORIA ships are equipped with the Linked Advanced Operations Network. LAO Network connects all of the fleets missiles to a secured network in which AIs work together with the crew and different assets to formulate the perfect combat solution. The primary weapons of choice are missiles but the recent upgrade has added all weapon systems into the LAO network.

Smart Gun systems fire homing projectiles that home in towards the current locked-on target. Although not guaranteed to hit, these weapons are useful for vessels that need to focus on many things at once, juggling utility systems with their damage output.

NORIA also uses a wide variety of kinetic projectiles, Magnetic Accelerator Cannons being the primary choice.

Lasers are used on most large NORIA ships but are mostly for defense and lack serious offensive capabilities.

Relationships

Eumia

In 2066 the government released information that NORIA had come in contact with intelligent life on the planet Eumia. The planet had been overrun by a virus similar to rabies which had seemingly started a zombie apocalypse. Since its discovery, NORIA has been working with survivors to secure the planet and find a vaccine or cure for the virus. NORIA has stationed a permanent task force on the planet and has 3 satellite in orbit around the planet. The relationship between NORIA and the population of Eumia has been mostly positive and in 2069 NORIA took a group of survivors to Earth.

Public

NORIA's relationship with the public has overwhelmingly been positive and has widespread support within the government. Once a year Fleet Week is celebrated in North Timeria. Ships from the fleet fly over major cities around the country while people celebrate down below.

The population and businesses have also seen an increase in wealth since its establishment. The Mining Sector has seen the most growth since its establishment and is currently of of the fastest growing in North Timeria.
