In Alvsbergish politics, a Red yellow coalition (Rödgula-koalitionen) is a coalition government composed of the Social Democrats , People's Party (formerly the libertarian party) and the Left Party. Despite the significant ideological diffrences between the members, it has been widely popular by its voters and has been cooperative.

The Coalition was first formed after the 2011 elections when Olivia Klärssons Bloc invited the Free Democrats after not fulfilling a majority in the Riksting, without asking the other members. This caused the Libertarian party to switch its supports to Jesper Anderssons government. The issue of the colliding tax proposals between the Left Party and the Libertarian Party nearly dissolved the coalition, but eventually a compromise of higher taxes but with further free market policies.
