Ntunbe is the capital and second-largest city in Aybrea, after Litebbe, with a population of roughly 514,000 people. It is located in the northern arid plateau region of the country. The city serves as the centre of political activity in Aybrea and is also a major economic hub. Meat, fish and cotton processing are the chief industries, and it is a regional market for livestock, salt, dates, and grains. It is also a transportation intersection, at the confluence of the Ntun and Poulo rivers.
