Aklonaru (Akloni: Aklonärū) is a historical and cultural region in Northern Ovalkia. Its territory consists of the lands inhabited by the Akloni peoples, a loose group of ethnicities joined by similar culture and history. Several nations comprise the region, together the Akloni kingdoms. It borders geographic features such as the Karovi Strait to the north, the Sea of Ovalkia to the west, the Ratona Desert to the east, and the Kolatar Rainforest to the south. Major cities located in the region include Plūdi, Amävär, Sōtäbé, and Sélan.
The region was first mentioned in 1019 by Aki II, King of Ova, who used it as an alternative name for the Kingdom of Ova, which at the time owned a majority of the region. However, after the Collapse of the Kingdom of Ova, the region was once again divided between several smaller ethnic kingdoms.
