The Taspirian Mountains or the Taspiris is a mountain range that runs north to south across the Caspiaan Islands. The northern-most mountains drop precipitously into the Olympic Ocean to the west, forming world renowned fjords. To the south, the gently receed into sloping plains which form the shores. The mountains are relatively high for a range so young and are very steep in places. Mount Sentraltind is the highest peak in Caspiaa and the "Caspiaan Stretch" at 2,469 metres (8,100 ft).
