The Aoraqet'yari Cluster formerly known as the Lyr'Davni Cluster, situated approximately 1.3 ±0.3 kly from the Sol System is an open cluster in the constellation of Lyra, home to the astropolity known as the Ascendant Syndicated Hegemony of Auracexia or the A.S.H.A., which possesses twenty-five systems, fourteen of which possess significant populations in the billions, a proto-planetary disk and ten systems within the cluster which are unpopulated by Aoraqet'yari, designating them as the Core Systems. The A.S.H.A. also exercises claims over more than forty other systems, designating them as the frontier systems or Outer Systems of the Ascendant Syndicated Hegemony of Auracexia.
Overview
Originally, the majority of the systems within the cluster, were under the administration of the Lyr'Davni Stellar Dominion, until their exctinction. Of these systems, beyond the fifteen core systems of the A.S.H.A. with a significant population, approximately sixty or more systems were inhabited or colonized by the Lyr'Davni over the span of their history.
History
The Aoraqet'yari Era (1 AE–Present)
The Dawn of the Aoraqet'yari (1–18,508 AE)
Finally in what is now called the Last Year of The Great Dying (equiv. to 16,208 BCE) the first women who had undergone the fertilization procedure gave birth, initially happy after five millennia of zero births throughout the Lyr’Davni worlds that new life had been brought into their star system were brought to the realization that their children were of an entirely new species, while humanoid these children displayed traits that were uncharacteristic of the Lyr’Davni race. Vibrant hair and eye colour, a naturally medium-tan to olive skin complexion and an increasingly exponential development in intelligence. Among other readily discernible characteristics, every last child was born female, and all of them with a set of retractable tactile organs (tentacles) between their shoulder blades, the most identifiable trait being that of a retractable tactile organ near their genitalia.
Initially abhorred under the belief that the presence of this second organ was a birth defect; most women kept quiet regarding the subject. Only after the reassurance from the scientific community that the presence of this second organ was intentional, were the women of Auracexia able to put their minds at ease. After the initial shock regarding the physiology of their newborn children, the women continued to have more children finally proud that extinction had been avoided and the core world had begun to experience positive population growth.
After the last of the Lyr’Davni who had formed the nucleus of Auracexia’s government died, a new government was established with the eldest Auracexian female at its head. With this new matriarchy established, on 1 Athyr-met, during the 1st year of the 1st Era After The Great Dying (equiv. to March, 15 16,207 BCE) the position of Prime Archon was created and Grand Dame Séterrhÿana Navras Delya Ravÿnna-Asträeva became proclaimed as the Dévnostraéva (Prime Archon) of the Sovereign Hegemony of Auracexia, with her wife Xuxiah Daénaré Sélene Ravÿnna-Asträeva proclaimed as Dévnostraéva-Saéret (Prime Archoness) of the Sovereign Hegemony of Auracexia.
With the increase in births the population of the planet exploded from the scant number of mere millions to 1.26 billion inside the span of three decades. As the last generation of Lyr’Davni finally died, the new breed of Auracexian women had begun to reach maturity and sometime around 16,167 BCE these women began breeding with one another and the second generations of Auracexians were born increasing the population of Auracexia by threefold.
With the population rate and birth rate both on the rise, the empire finally turned its attention toward a small backwater colony of theirs near the periphery of their empire named Qhethon’a (Earth) in search of the Lyr’Davni humans who had colonized the world in millennia past in the hopes of bringing enough males back to the core world to attempt the siring of a male Auracexian child.
Projects Metamorphosis and Phoenix (18,508 AE–Present)
Due to the overpopulation crisis present on the planets of the Core Systems, on Tybir-met 2, 18508 AE, the Prime Archon of the A.S.H.A., Séterrhÿana N. D. Ravÿnna-Asträeva put forward a pair of initiatives to address the crisis.
Project Metamorphosis will initially commence as a series of massive construction projects through the planets of the Core Systems to ensure that we not only adequately meet the demands for our growing population, but to exceed the anticipated demands for the foreseeable future. Project Metamorphosis will eventually streamline into Project Phoenix. Project Phoenix is thus: Due to our current issues of overpopulation and the ever-increasing density of our population within the Core Systems, I have approved the decision to begin the exploration of, and expansion into the Outer Systems.
