The way the presidential elections in Voisey work is this: Initially, the candidates campaign. At the same time, they have to harvest what is called sponsorships. They need at least 750. These sponsorships are given by mayors, municipal councillors, county councillors, regional councillors, MPs and senators. After a certain date, candidates who have not obtained enough sponsorships cannot access the elections themselves.
