Government of Sibaria
The Parliament of the Sibarian Federation is the legislative branch of the government of Sibaria. It consists of two elements: the Senate (whose house leader is the President) and the Assembly (whose leader is the Prime Minister. The Government of the Sibarian Federation came into effect on the 1 January 1921. The "election" took place on 1st January and the first Sibarian Parliament was opened on 2 May 1921. After the official opening, from 1874 to 1992, the Parliament met in Old Parliament House, located in the old Socialist District.
The Parliament House contains 2,300 rooms, and many areas are open to the public. The main foyer contains a marble staircase and leads to the Heroes Hall, which has a large Soviet tapestry. The Senate of Sibaria chamber is decorated red and brow, while the Assembly chamber has been decorated green. Between the two chambers is the Ministers' Hall, which has a water feature and is not open to the public. The Ministerial Wing houses the Prime Minister's Office and other ministerial offices.

The current Senate is the 24th Sibarian Senate. The outcome of the 2026 election saw the first-term incumbent Conservative-National Coalition elected with 149 seats in the 300-seat Senate. The Cresnevic Sibaria One opposition won 136 seats, an decrease of 29 seats. On the crossbench the Sibaria Free Party and the Communists won 2 seats each while the Populists won one seat. The CNC hold the Speaker. The leader of the Senate, the party leader who holds the most seats, becomes President of Sibaria.
The seat of the former Soviet Senate was held with an iron fist by someone elected by the General Committee, not the public. Thus, during WWII and the Cold War, they had full control of the United Sibarian Soviet Socialist Republics and it's population. The new presidential seat established in 1992 holds the position of the leader of Sibaria, and since 1998, with the signing of the Youthsville Pact, holds special command of the nations militaries.
The Senate is a majority Conservative-Nationalist Coalition, led by Redovan Stojanovic with a minority of the Sibaria One Party, led by Nikola Cresnevic.

The Melina Krusnovic led Sibaria One opposition won 30 seats, an decrease of 33 seats. On the crossbench the Communists won 4 seats, the Populists won 2 seats while the Faarmers, Modernists, Monarchists and The Sibarian Free Party won one seat. The CNC hold the Speaker. The leader of the Assembly, the party leader who holds the most seats, becomes Prime Minister of Sibaria.
