    Borlish Revolt 1870

Borland revolted against imperial rule due to the high taxes placed upon them by the imperial government and their local nobles as well as the fact that surfs in Borland were often worked literally to death. Westland was also supposed to come to Borlands aid but aid never arrived. The revolt lasted a year and many of the local nobles were killed. Imperial response to the revolt was slow and the Revolt itself capitalised on this, first killing nobles then brefly setting up the "Republic Of Borland". Once the imperial armies arrived, the Borlish rebels were slaughtered along with thousands of Borlish men, thousands of Borlish women were captured and sold off across the country to become sex slaves. Naturally the remaining Borlish population was discontent but imperial armies remained for many years and killed anyone who tried to gather resistance again.

    Inter Revolt

Borlish civilians continued to protest against the Celesterran government but in smaller pockets of people leading these revolts to have been too small to have been considered a full scale rebellion. The Celesterran government ruled with an iron fist, killing anyone who opposed the will of the emperor and enslaving their families. Rebels hung from public buildings as reminders to those who would want to rebel against the government. But in the underground, discontent was growing as peasants slowly built up an army right under the noses of the Celesterrans and the local nobles. Armies of local nobles even began to become sympathetic to the cause and joined forces with peasants, with many assassinations of Nobles taking place by the hand of their own soldiers.

    The Grand Revolt 1891-1893

Peasant groups across Borland, Westland, Taranis and Tiwaz banded together and formed an alliance to revolt against their local nobles and the imperial government. Reasons for this included, continued high taxes from imperial government and nobles, continued forced labour, killings of peasants who were "suspected to be rebels" and continued trafficing of children into child slavery and women into sex slaves for the wealthy in the capital region. Peasant groups rose, with local armies joining the fray as many of them were sons of kidnapped women or brothers of children sold into slavery. Imperial garrisons were pushed out as peasants killed and looted noble homes as well as the palaces of local kings leading to the death of the king of borland, king of westland and the queen of taranis. More imperial armies arrived but rebelling peasants and local armies held them back. While imperial armies were much more experienced and much better equipped, there were many more of the peasants who would have gladly died to have been free from the life they currently had. Both sides eventually ended up in much of a stalemate with imperial armies unable to push through the meat shield of peasants. Eventually the peasants had to give up due to the sheer number of them being slaughtered with ease by the Imperial Armies who had ended up using artillery and newly invented machine guns on large groups of peasant protestors. The peasants eventually ended up giving up and surrendering, leading to the "Eastern Rebel Massacre" where all 100,000 of the remaining peasants who surrendered were killed.

    Inter Rebellion Years

After the peasants gave up protesting, imperial armies slaughtered and burned down many towns in all four regions, leading to around 500,000 civilian deaths. Eventually the armies were called away to resume their post on the eastern border with Michu as tensions seemed to be rising between Michu and Celesterra. The Borlish Police force was left to deal with whatever strung out bands of locals tried to rebel. The Borlish Police were mostly successful in their attempts to prevent further revolts, employing similar tactics to the celesterran military, leading to further deaths of local rebels, along with the arrest of one of the rebel ring leaders who was publicly executed in Bordon.

    First BFF Attack 1900

A small attack where a group of 5 Borlish men took to the streets, 2 with guns and the others had weapons such as knives and bats, 2 police officers were killed, 3 injured and a local bureaucrat was injured. The Uprising started with the bureaucrat being attacked by the men and then they continued to march through the city centre of Bordon, locals reported the incident to the police, two police squads consisting of fourteen officers each confronted the men. The men with guns shot two officers in the head and the other three men attacked officers flanking the ones who were shot. The men armed with firearms were killed by officers with guns, leading to the remaining three men to surrender. Upon questioning (and a lot of torture) it was discovered that the men were part of a new organisation called the "Borlish Fatherland Front" who were hellbent on securing a republic of Borland.
